Sharing the Gospel of Hope—Everywhere.
The Daughters of St. Paul is an international congregation of religious women dedicated to evangelization through the witness of life and the proclamation of the Gospel using the means of social communication. Founded in Alba, Italy, on June 15, 1915, by Fr. James Alberione, the congregation was born from a prophetic vision and a deep love for the Word of God—a vision that continues to inspire it to seek new paths and platforms for evangelization today.
Attentive to the signs of the times, Fr. Alberione recognized the vital role of women in both society and the Church. He saw, in a particular way, the unique mission of consecrated women to bring the Gospel into the dynamic and far-reaching world of communications.
The Daughters of St. Paul is one of five religious congregations founded by Fr. Alberione. Together with four aggregated institutes and the Pauline
Cooperators, it forms the Pauline Family, united in the mission of proclaiming Christ to the world.
Consecrated women apostles, committed to following Jesus Master in evangelization through all forms of social communication, inspired by St. Paul and guided by Mary, Queen of Apostles.

Some lives speak loudly through achievements, and some whisper God’s presence through quiet fidelity. Sr. Maria
Magdalena Singh, known in religious life as Sr. Maria Fidelis, belonged to the latter—a Daughter of St. Paul whose life became a gentle yet powerful testimony of love, humility, and unwavering devotion to the Gospel
Some lives speak quietly yet powerfully— lives that, through simple fidelity and deep joy, proclaim the Gospel as eloquently as any sermon. Such was the life of Sr. Santiaga Valentina Carrido of the Daughters of St. Paul, who was called to eternal life on October 29 at the age of 80
Some lives unfold like a quiet hymn—steady, faithful, and filled with meaning in every note. The life of Sr. Maria Gesualda Sebumpan, FSP, was one such song. On a gentle afternoon at 3:58 p.m., in the “M. Tecla” house in Pasay City, the Lord called her home, inviting her to live forever in the radiant light of the Risen One. She was 94.
